2-day Online Mindfulness Retreat 2025

Giving and Receiving

Friday 21st at 7 pm – Sunday 23rd November 2025 at 3.30 pm

Led by Barbara Hussong and Chantek McNeilage

This 2-day online retreat, offers the opportunity to practise together in silence, supported by guided meditation, movements, readings and a possibility for sharing.

Giving and Receiving - at times can be a challenge within ourselves, in our environment or life conditions and circumstances etc. In the space of the retreat, we can become more aware of our habitual reactivity to these challenges and allow new perspectives and acceptance to emerge. We also will have the possibility to open to the joy and nourishment of giving and receiving.

The practices will be lightly guided allowing us to touch into our own inner inquiry, stillness and embodied grounded connection. Each day there will be a talk given by one of the facilitators and a time for you to share your experience if you wish. It is important to participate in the entire retreat. Please consider that the home environment is conducive for you to settle into the retreat without disturbance.

The retreat will be held on the Zoom platform and we have limited places to 23, to avoid screen overcrowding.

Fee: From £100 – £140, please do feel free to offer what you can between these amounts.

Please contact me here to receive more details and the application form.

The next residential retreat will be from April 30th – May 3rd, 2026 at the Ladywell Retreat Centre, Surrey

Mindfulness Practice Days

 Mindfulness and Earth Awareness

Saturday 11th October 2025, 10am – 4:00pm

with Barbara Hussong

This is an opportunity to engage with and deepen our Mindfulness practice and raise awareness towards our environment as we open to the pleasure of experiencing the beauty of nature.  We will be exploring this theme throughout the day with formal, guided meditation, informal Mindfulness practice, walking meditation, inquiry and dialogue.

How do we integrate our Mindfulness practice into our everyday life, full of the challenges of climate change and sustainability? How can we foster a way of being present in body and mind in the midst of these challenges? Rather than resisting and turning away, can we appreciate each moment and find a way of relating with care and compassion towards the environment and others? Can we open to appreciation and joy as well and can we enter into the space full of new possibilities, connecting us to the people around us in our life?

Large parts of the day, including the lunch break, will be in silence in order to be able to focus on our experience from moment-to-moment. In the afternoon there will be an opportunity to have a private conversation with me about your Mindfulness practice and any related questions you might want to bring up.

When:             11th October 2025, 10am – 4:00pm

Where:           26 Milford Close, Maidstone, ME16 0EY

Fee:                 early bird until 20th August: £55 (concs. available), thereafter: £60

To book:         Please contact me here to receive more details and the application form.

Compassionate Living Days

2025 Dates to be announced

10 am - 4 pm

to be held as a hybrid session in Maidstone ME16 or online via Zoom

This will be an opportunity to come together and practise the exercises of the MINDFULNESS-BASED COMPASSIONATE LIVING course that you have done in the past.

As we have been living with enormous challenges, compassion for ourselves and for others is a sane response to many pressures we are facing and this approach needs sustained and regular practice.

Much of this practice day will be in silence and at the end there is the space to share your experience.

We will take regular breaks from the screen for refreshments and lunch and include walking and movement practices.

The fee for the day is £60 for early applications, thereafter the fee is £65.

If you have any further questions about the technical side, regarding the suitability for you at this time, or wish to join please contact me here
