A 2-day Online Mindfulness Retreat 2021
Friday evening 30th April – Sunday afternoon 2nd May
Led by Barbara Hussong and Chantek McNeilage
We have pleasure in announcing and inviting you to attend this 2-day online retreat, offering the opportunity to practice together, supported by guided meditations, movements, readings and sharing. Many of us will have experienced a lot of difficulties and challenges during the last months. It is time now, to come together for a renewal of our energies, our spirit and our practice. Spring is emerging, time now to tap into the rhythm of the changing seasons and transition out of winter, harnessing the forces of new growth and development, opening to renewal with courage and kindness.
Over these two days we will have time to deepen our practice and resource ourselves together, through a mix of practices supporting renewal and balance. The practices will be lightly guided allowing us to open into our own inner inquiry and embodied grounded connection.
Each day there will be a talk or theme given by one of the facilitators and a time to share your experience. It is important to participate in the entire retreat. The retreat will be held on the Zoom platform and we encourage you to have your video camera on where possible. You will need enough space for movement, lying down, standing and sitting practices. Please consider that the home environment is conducive for you to settle into a retreat.
(For those, needing to fulfil the retreat requirements for the Good Practice Guidelines & BAMBA, these 2 days can count towards the 5-day retreat requirement.)

Mindfulness-Based Compassionate Living Course
Starts Wednesday 13th January - 10th March 2021
(no class on 10th February),
plus a Silent Practice on Saturday 20th March 10 am - 1 pm.
Conducted on Zoom.
This course is suitable for people who have done an 8-week Mindfulness course, have maintained some form of regular practice and would like to explore and deepen Mindfulness and Heartfulness more. It offers practical ways of deepening mindfulness skills with compassion.
Stress Reduction through Mindful Awareness Course (MBSR)
Next Group Course begins: Wednesday 12th May 2021
6.30 - 8.45 pm
An 8-week course to develop the ability to be more aware of one’s moment by moment experience and so helping to cope better with a wide range of physical and psychological difficulties. Regular home practice is essential, supported by audio recordings and workbook. Taught in small groups, one-to-one or as a distance learning course.
This group course will be taught in person in a smaller group size than usual, or if government COVID-19 guidelines and safety issues don't allow this, the course will be moved to an online platform (Zoom) at the same dates and times.
Mindfulness Supervision and Mentoring
I also offer supervision for Mindfulness teachers as well as individual mentoring and support for Mindfulness practitioners to develop their practice after completing the training.
Deepening into the Heart of Practice Retreat
A Five-Day Silent Mindfulness Retreat

We offer the opportunity for anyone who has completed the 8-week MBSR/MBCT course to refresh and deepen your mindfulness practice in a residential retreat. For teachers, this retreat fulfils the UK Network’s Good Practice Guidelines requiring a commitment to attending an annual retreat.
When: Tuesday April 28th - Sunday May 3rd 2020.
Arrival from 4:00 pm with supper at 6:00 pm - Sunday ending at 4:00 pm
Where: Emerson College, Forest Row, East Sussex, RH18 5JX
Fee: £585 (includes teaching, accommodation and meals; concessions available)
£85 deposit. The balance of the full fee is due by March 20th 2020. Places are limited so early application is recommended.
